One found dead in Sampson County home shooting
A person was killed in a shooting at a Sampson County mobile home park early Sunday morning.
Posted — UpdatedDUNN, N.C. — A person was killed in a shooting at a Sampson County mobile home park early Sunday morning.
Deputies were seen investigating at a home off Fred Tew Road in the Plain View community. Around 2 a.m., they found a dead person inside the home, which carries a Dunn address.
A neighbor told WRAL "it sounded like a war zone."
Evidence markers and crime scene tape surrounded the area.
Authorities at the scene did not give details. WRAL is working to learn more.
