One dead, two others seriously hurt from Durham shooting

One man has died and two others were seriously hurt in a shooting that happened in Durham late Friday night.

DURHAM, N.C. — One man has died and two others were seriously hurt in a shooting that happened in Durham late Friday night.

Durham police responded to the shooting on the 1000 block of Drew Street and found two men inside a car who had been shot. Saturday morning, Durham police revealed that one of the men had died. The other man shot had life-threatening injuries.

Later, officers found another man nearby who had been shot. He was taken to the hospital and also had life-threatening injuries.

Police did not identify the man who died in a release.

There was a heavy police presence in the neighborhood where the shooting took place. Police are still investigating with no word on arrests or what led to the shooting.

On Sunday, two men were found shot in a parking lot on Holloway Street, less than two miles from where Friday night's shooting happened. Police are still investigating that shooting as well.
