One person is dead after a shooting near the Cook Out in Durham off Hillsborough Road, officials said. 


<b>DURHAM, N.C.</b> — Two people were shot near the Cook Out off of Hillsborough Road in Durham at around 3 a.m. on Sunday, according to officials.

A man, Otha Watson, 26, of Durham, died Sunday afternoon at an area hospital. A woman was also shot, but her injuries were not expected to be life-threatening.

Officials have not released details about a suspect or if anyone has been charged.
