One dead, one in critical condition after Wilson wreck

The state Highway Patrol has identified the people involved in a fatal two-car wreck Tuesday afternoon in Wilson County.

KENLY, N.C. — The state Highway Patrol has identified the people involved in a fatal two-car wreck Tuesday afternoon in Wilson County.

One person was killed when a car and truck collided at about 3:30 p.m. along U.S. Highway 301 and N.C. Highway 581, near Kenly, troopers said.

Sarkis Rockfieyel Brooks, 22, of Kenly, the driver of the car, was transported to WakeMed, where he was listed in critical condition. His passenger, Dianus Rayvon Parker, 23, of Kenly, was killed.

The two men in the truck – Carlos Sanchez Villagomez, 27, and Sergio Sanjuan, 28, both of Wilson – were taken to Wilson Memorial Hospital with minor injuries. Both were out of the hospital by Wednesday afternoon.

All four people involved in the wreck were wearing seat belts, troopers said. The cause of the accident has not been determined and no charges have been filed.
