One person died in an officer-involved shooting in Greensboro on Friday night.

GREENSBORO, N.C. — One person died in an officer-involved shooting in Greensboro on Friday night.
WXII reports Greensboro police responded to a call on Cloverdale Drive after someone reported a person was trying to get into their home.
Police found a person in a shed behind the home and confronted them. Investigators say an officer fired their gun, shooting that person. They died at the scene, according to police.
The person killed has not yet been identified by authorities.
The officer has been put on administrative duty, which is standard for an officer-involved shooting.
