Durham police seek clues after man found fatally shot in wrecked SUV
One person was killed Monday evening in a shooting in Durham, authorities said.
Posted — UpdatedDURHAM, N.C. — Durham police were investigating after a man was found Monday evening with a gunshot wound inside a wrecked SUV, authorities said.
The body of Kvon Tyriq Cook, 25, of Durham, was found when police were called to Craven Street, near Usher Street, on a report of a shooting about 5:30 p.m.
Police found Cook inside the vehicle, suffering from a gunshot wound. It was not immediately clear if Cook knew the person who fired the shot or if it was a random attack.
