Hi everyone. Meteorologist Anthony Maglione here in the WRL severe weather center tracking our next system that comes in for tomorrow and then into especially monday morning with some rain tonight. We are still dry though. No issues. It just will be cold waking up here as we head into our sunday temperatures in the upper thirties, we'll see increasing clouds here into the morning. There is future cast though. So we start off the day fairly dry and what I will say is overall really limited rain chances here throughout the day. On sunday itself mainly from the triangle to the north. We could see a few light showers but for the most part that's the system that we're tracking is not gonna be here yet. There is two o'clock early monday morning though. That's when we start to increase the coverage after midnight heading into monday is gonna be the best chance here for seeing some of these showers and they should be pushing out by about lunchtime on monday itself. So we're not looking at heavy rainfall all day long tomorrow or anything like that. It just will start to push in, especially tomorrow night temperatures still very mild here on our sunday upper fifties, low sixties, not a bad day. As far as weather is concerned in that regard. Just a few of those light sprinkles here throughout the day but not calling it a washout by any means tomorrow heading throughout the next seven days though, we are looking at a more unsettled pattern. We're gonna see multiple systems, multiple chances of rain. We could be talking several inches of rain in some spots by the time we head into friday of this upcoming week and so it's going to be welcome rain because we need it. But certainly if you have plans, of course it's going to be inconvenient and not necessarily great. Our eastern counties are still pretty dry with those moderate drought conditions as well. We're warm here, very mild today as we head into our Sunday Monday, even Tuesday, still looking pretty good. We're at 48 on Wednesday and then off and on rain chances here throughout the majority of next week.

Dean Baldwin is a passionate music fan and enjoys styles ranging from classical to classic rock. He and his wife, Marie, played in a cover band in the Triangle area after moving here in 1999.

It's funny, it's one of these things that happened without a plan for the most part, you know, much of the career had been in the technology sector early on on the development side product management, but really the bulk of it had been in sales, um promoted up in sales leadership. And on a few years back just reached that point where I'd lost really the passion and interest in what I was doing. I wanted to do it, I wanted to change um you know, when you're 25 years into your career, it's kind of scary to make the change, but but I did end up going back to school studying python machine learning, um business analytics, which allowed me to build upon my experience. So, career wise, moved into a new role. Um you're doing marketing analytics, uh using a machine learning platform on the other side of things. I've always been passionate about music. Grew up in a musical household, um My wife and I even played in local bands here. So, you know, I've always been passionate about it and my daughters are musicians, so they would always encourage me to um you know, tell the stories that that I, they grew up listening to me talk about and I've never been big on social media, but I don't know about two years or so ago, just did some posts on Tiktok and one day, one of them kind of took off and from there, it just, it just grew about, we're coming up on a year ago, I think was March of last year bob buckman at Syria said, reached out to me and just start struck up a conversation to see where my interest was at the time. I had never even thought about going on air as a, as a host and being that I've never done it, that was never in my career path. You know, he spent some time quite a bit of time mentoring me again. Be prepared for the audition process and we went through the training, but I think we're coming up, I think it was March is when they reached out. Okay. And and have you just recently started doing this this weekend will actually be my, my debut weekend. So I'll be on series XM's classic vinyl on saturday and then classic rewind on sunday. And then from that point forward, I'll be the evening host on classic rewind every sunday, sunday evening. You know, some of my earliest memories are attached to songs. So whether it's, I'd like to teach the world to sing or Captain Tennille love will Keep Us Together and I've got little whenever I hear the songs, I have memories that take me back to very young days. Um Yeah, my dad would listen to Old country Tom T Hall. Um Patsy Cline, my mother was uh probably more diverse. She loved folk. Yeah, I remember at a very young age, she would go and sit around with a bunch of other musicians at the campfire and they just play acoustic guitar and sing, peter paul and mary, you know, puff the magic dragon etcetera. Um So it started off probably strong in country, but it was around 1979, Yeah, I started getting exposed to bands like uh Rush Triumph, um april wine D. O. And then I would go on from there. So by the time I got into the eighties I was very much into um more of the rock and but everything my mom had turned me on to, I mean even Barry Manilow, she was a huge Barry Manilow fan, so I would spend time sitting at the piano and she played weekend in New England and I would sing along with her. So music had become, and even to this day when I look back at my memories, you know, I might think of an event and the way that I remember what year that event happened is because pretty much everything is attached to a song and I can go, okay, well that song was released this year. So this event happened that year and I think a lot of that's just because of the way that she would always talk about music. Um I kind of just, I guess replicated her mindset towards it. Now at this point I am given a playlist and what I do is I take the playlist that they're they're providing me and I kind of just work my style into it. So I'm very story oriented. Uh I'll just work my stories into the playlist they provide in terms of my internal identity. I probably always default back to what I was listening to when I when I probably had my greatest development as guitarist which would be, you know, bands like doc and scorpions, um Iron Made and so the Rock. But uh I really do love all forms of music. I mean at a very young age I fell in love with luciano Pavarotti. I'm a big fan of classical music, absolutely love the uh the impressionist composers such as, you know, W. C. And sati. Um So a huge fan of classical, still love a lot of the eighties rock, but also have a lot of respect for a lot of country guitarists, both past and present. Um There was a period probably mid late eighties where started getting into David Gilmour, Stevie Ray Vaughan and I would say those guitars had the most profound impact on me because up until that point, I think a lot of a lot of guitars, a lot of musicians go through this this phase where it's all about, you know, how fast how complex can I play. So the more complicated the rift, the faster the rift and the better the musician I must be. And then you listen to guys like Stevie Ray Vaughan and David Gilmour, it's exact opposite. It's about how much emotion can you put into a single note and you know, that was a very profound um you know, lesson I've actually incorporated in a lot of other areas of my life throughout the years.
