Raleigh, N.C. — "Frozen 2" opened at Marbles Kids Museum's IMAX theater Thursday night and, ahead of its first screening, the downtown Raleigh theater got a shoutout from one of its stars — Emmy Award winning actor Sterling K Brown.
Brown is the voice of Lieutenant Destin Mattias in "Frozen 2." Fans also know him as Randall Pearson in NBC's drama "This Is Us" and N'Jobu in "Black Panther," among other roles.
And, on Twitter on Wednesday evening, Brown took a moment to encourage his 375,000 followers to catch "Frozen 2" at Marbles' theater if they were anywhere near Raleigh.
"I'm here to hype you up on 'Frozen 2,' coming to Marbles' IMAX theater," he says in the video. "All proceeds will go to Marbles Kids Museum. It's a great venue to see a great movie. Big screen. Big time. Come check it out."
It's not clear what led Brown to spread the word about Marbles. But it's worth noting that one of his "Frozen 2" co-stars is Raleigh native and actress Evan Rachel Wood, who is the voice of Queen Iduna in the movie.
