Ohio murder suspect arrested in Sampson County
A Sampson County deputy arrested a man wanted in an Ohio slaying after finding the man sleeping at a highway rest stop early Friday, authorities said.
Posted — UpdatedSean Troy Zadar, 37, of Parma Heights, Ohio, was charged with possession of stolen property and carrying a concealed weapon, authorities said.
The deputy found a Toyota RAV 4 with Ohio plates parked at the rest area along U.S. Highway 421 south of the Delway community. A man was sleeping in the back seat, and after the deputy woke him up, he said he had stopped to rest while traveling.
A check of the car determined that the vehicle had been stolen and that the man was wanted for questioning in the slaying of his mother, authorities said. The deputy ordered the man out of the car and took him into custody.
A pistol was found inside the car near where the man had been sleeping, authorities said.
Investigators with the Parma Heights Police Department were headed to Sampson County Friday to question Zadar.
