A street in Los Angeles will be named for President Obama, the city's mayor tweeted on Tuesday.

LOS ANGELES, CALIFORNIA — A street in Los Angeles will be named for President Obama, the city's mayor tweeted on Tuesday.

"We are thrilled that Angelenos and visitors will forever be reminded of the legacy of President Barack Obama when traveling across L.A.," tweeted Mayor Eric Garcetti.

According to the mayor, city council members voted to rename Rodeo Road to Obama Boulevard.
