RALEIGH, N.C. — A group of boutique and small business owners from around country has dubbed the Friday before Thanksgiving as "Pink Friday."
Small Business Saturday, which encourages shoppers to support locally-owned and independent retailers the day after Black Friday, is great, but BoutiqueHub wants to give small businesses an early start.

That's why Pink Friday was created.

To help shoppers find small businesses close to them, BouiqueHub has launched an interactive map of local retailers.

The map features Shugs Boutique in Garner, Koket Boutique in Raleigh's Lafayette Village and the Simply Becky Boutique, an online store that offers women's clothing in sizes up to 3X, among others.

The participating stores may offer Pink Friday deals and giveaways. Koket is offering customers a free gift with any purchase of $25 or more or two gifts with any purchase of $75 or more, along with Rosé and cookies.
