North Hills in Raleigh is unveiling a whole slate of kids activities this Monday as part of their new NH Kids series.

The series runs from April to August. In April, it will include storytimes with Quail Ridge Books & Music, special presentations from The Traveling Teacher Show and open play and creative exercise.

I probably spend half of my life at North Hills. And it's always amazing to me the number of kids running around the little square of "grass" next to Starbucks and Ben & Jerry's and across from the movie theater. Parents camp out at the tables with their coffee or meal from one of the restaurants nearby as the kids play.

Daily programming will pretty much stay the same throughout the series, though there will be some changes. Check the North Hills website each month for the latest calendar.

North Hills also will have their Easter scavenger hunt from noon to 3 p.m. Saturday. They'll look for golden eggs and more on the streets of North Hills. The Easter Bunny will be there and so will Jim Kelly from 101.5 WRAL-FM.
And in other North Hills news, Stroller Strides of Midtown Raleigh will have its grand opening at North Hills on April 21. You may remember my post about Stroller Strides of Raleigh a few weeks ago. Click here for more details about the Midtown location.
