North Hills restaurant, bar opens Tuesday
Rosewater Kitchen and Bar will open its doors at North Hills on Tuesday.
Posted — UpdatedThe venture is veteran restaurateur Giorgios Bakatsias' first Raleigh restaurant. Bakatsias, under his Giorgios Hospitality Group. In total, the group operates 11 restaurants across the state including Vin Rouge, Parizade and Bin 54.
“Whether seated in the main dining room or bar, in the garden room, or the plant-filled patio, we’ve designed Rosewater to be a transporting oasis in the heart of North Hills, set among vine-trained trellis’s and flowering plants,” Bakatsias said via a press release Monday.
Rosewater, modeled after a European-style neighborhood bistro, will serve rotisserie, seafood and vegetable sections with American wines, craft cocktails and local beer. Menu options include Mediterranean-inspired carrot harissa hummus and charred octopus.
Rotisserie features include roasted lamb with minted chimichurri.
"We’re putting a great emphasis on showcasing the beauty of nature here at Rosewater – from intentional garden design to gorgeous meats, fish, seasonal vegetables and greens, prepared and garnished simply,” Bakatsias said.
Indoor and outdoor seating is available.
Rosewater will begin with dinner service Monday through Saturday. Brunch, which includes Union Special Bread pastries, Ribeye Cheesestake and Coconut Chia Pudding, will be served each weekend.
Breakfast and lunch service will be added in the future and will include Joe Van Gogh coffee.
Rosewater is open for dinner Monday through Thursday 5 to 10 p.m. and 5 to 11 p.m. on Saturday and Sunday. Brunch is served Saturday and Sunday from 10 a.m. until 3 p.m. On Saturdays a limited menu is served from 3 to 5 p.m.
