No foul play suspected in Raleigh man's death

Investigators do not suspect foul play in the death of a man found dead on South Wilmington Street Aug. 13.

RALEIGH, N.C. — Investigators do not suspect foul play in the death of a man found dead on South Wilmington Street Aug. 13.

Ausencio Leal Velasquez, 50, of Raleigh, fell or slumped backward onto a large, unsheathed knife that stabbed him under his left arm, police said. The knife was in a tote bag strapped over his shoulder and was forced upwards when he fell, police said.
