No charges in Dunn nursing home assault allegation

Authorities have cleared a nursing home employee accused in May of sexually assaulting patients at a Dunn facility.

DUNN, N.C. — Authorities have cleared a nursing home employee accused in May of sexually assaulting patients at a Dunn facility.

According to a police report, the first patient reported the incident to a nursing assistant on May 4; a supervisor reported it to police on May 5. The second incident was reported to police on May 12.

The two women were roommates at the the Magnolia Living Center.

No charges were filed against the worker, a 43-year-old certified nursing assistant, and his name was never made public.

Dunn police said there was not enough evidence to proceed with a case.
