NFL player, Wake Forest grad charged with 2019 assault, arrested Sunday

Darius Hodge of the NFL's Cincinnati Bengals has been arrested in connection with a 2019 assault.

WAKE FOREST, N.C. — Darius Hodge of the NFL's Cincinnati Bengals has been arrested in connection with a 2019 assault.

He was arrested on July 4 in Wake Forest, right off Capital Boulevard near Agora Drive.

Hodge, 23, played for Wake Forest High School and went to Marshall for college. The NFL player is a resident of Wake County.

He was charged for hitting a man repeatedly back in 2019, but was just arrested on Sunday.
