Newspaper carrier injured in wreck

Goldsboro, N.C. — A newspaper carrier crashed her vehicle on N.C. Highway 111, near Goldsboro, after falling asleep at the wheel early Sunday, state troopers said.
The woman was driving home after finishing her shift delivering papers for The News & Observer. She fell asleep, and her vehicle ran off Slick Rock Road, around 6:20 a.m., troopers said.
The woman, whose name was not released, received minor injuries.
