RALEIGH, N.C. — North Carolina's latest national basketball champions visited Gov. Beverly Perdue Wednesday afternoon.

The Duke University men's basketball team is invited to the Executive Mansion in Raleigh at 2:30 p.m. to meet Perdue and be recognized for winning this year's NCAA title.

The Blue Devils edged Butler 61-59 in the national championship game in Indianapolis.

Perdue honored the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill a year ago when the Tar Heels beat Michigan State for the national championship.
