Winston-Salem, N.C. — A man has been charged with first-degree murder after his wife was found dead in their Winston-Salem home.
Police told the Winston-Salem Journal that 25-year-old Tosha Barr died a short time after she was cut or stabbed early Saturday morning.
Investigators arrested Travis Lawan Barr, 34, 34, of 1206 E. 23rd St.
His mother said the couple had a troubled marriage and were living apart.
Travis Barr was awaiting a bond hearing. It could not immediately be determined if he has an attorney.
