The victim at the center of a recent Charlotte light rail stabbing was arrested Wednesday on assault charges dating back to October.
Kenyon Kareem-Shemar Dobie, 24, was charged with one felony count of assault inflicting serious bodily injury and misdemeanor counts of assault on a pregnant woman, assault on a female, domestic violence and communicating threats.

Arrest warrants from Mecklenburg County state that Dobie punched a pregnant woman with a closed fist with whom he was in a relationship with at the time. It also states that he communicated threats to kill the pregnant woman's children and other people.
The felony assault charge stated that the pregnant woman suffered a facial fracture.
Dobie had been in the hospital since Dec. 5 after allegedly being stabbed by 33-year-old Oscar Solarzano along the CATS Blue Line in Charlotte. It's unclear when he was released.
Dobie told WRAL News he saw Solarzano yelling at an older woman before Solarzano handed his bike to another passenger and said "I'm about to show you who I really am."
Dobie said he jumped up and told Solarzano to leave everyone alone. He claims that Solarzano then grabbed his hands and stabbed him as he tried to grab him back.
He added in a interview with WRAL News from his hospital bed that he pulled the knife out, began coughing up blood and eventually passed out. Dobie added that Solarzano ran and got off the train.
"I guess it's better off that it happened to me and not an older person," Dobie said.
Solarzano was charged with attempted first-degree murder, assault with deadly weapon to inflict serious injury, breaking and entering into a motor vehicle, carrying a concealed weapon and intoxication while being disruptive.
Dobie has raised nearly $103,000 to his GoFundMe after suffering serious damages.
Dobie was to appear in court Thursday at 9 a.m.
