Utility pole damaged in Wake Forest crash. Raleigh police say suspects from mall shooting involved

A utility pole was damaged in a crash Wednesday afternoon in Wake Forest.

According to a spokesperson for the town, the crash happened around 3:55 p.m. on South Main Street U.S. 1 Alternate. Police said one vehicle was involved, adding that a utility pole was broken in the crash.

Wake Forest police said the South Main Street and U.S. 1 Alternate intersection was closed at Cimarron Parkway.

Sky 5 spotted a Raleigh Police Department vehicle at the scene of the crash. According to Raleigh police officers, the vehicle involved in the crash was also at a shooting at Triangle Town Center.
