Hello, everyone. I'm meteorologist Mike Mays in the WRL Severe Weather center with our forecast update for this Friday night. We had a warm day out at RDU. Surprisingly, with all the cloud cover, we had up to 77 per their cli report that came out this afternoon overnight. We'll have partly cloudy skies by day break. We're going to watch to see if some low clouds and fog form. Uh, we still have a lot of low level moisture. The clouds were late and burning off. So as the air cools, we may see that moisture can dense out and form low clouds and fog as of right now for our dog walking forecasts in the morning, we'll go partly to maybe mostly cloudy 60 by 7 a.m. nine AM, 65 by 11 a.m. 70. But really don't be surprised if you step out and you see a full overcast that will burn off. We expect a nice afternoon. So high pressure will rule through the weekend of next week. We have a long stretch of dry weather and it's not going to be hot. Our normal high is about 79. We'll be in the upper seventies to maybe low eighties between now and next Friday morning, lows in the upper fifties. So I would really call that seasonal for this time of year. So our forecast tomorrow, the model showing this is the five o'clock time stamp. By the way, a lot of cloud cover by five o'clock, partly to mostly cloudy 77 in Raleigh 80 in Fayetteville, 74 boon 80 at Wilmington on Sunday. Theoretically, we should have a brighter day. I'm seeing signs of a mostly sunny day. 79 in Raleigh 81 at Fayetteville, 73 with morning fog over in Boone. And then for Monday sunshine, our high 82 in Raleigh 84 in Fayetteville. And I think Monday will probably have the warmest high of next week with that high of 82. So our forecast overnight, some clouds and fog could develop by daybreak, upper fifties in the north to 60 in Raleigh 62 in Fayetteville. And then tomorrow we're going to watch for some clouds to hang around high temperatures in the mid seventies to about 80. Really all sunshine dependent. Now college game day is coming to town Duke for the Notre Dame Duke game 65 in the morning at 9 a.m. by seven o'clock during the game 71 by 10 o'clock, 66 that'll be pretty nice. But if you want to get on the road and go over to Charlotte for the Panthers game, mostly sunny skies high temperatures in the mid to or actually, temperatures during the game will be in the mid to upper seventies. So it should be a pretty nice game. Just make sure you wear sunscreen and wear a hat so you don't burn your head. I would definitely do that. 82 on Monday, 80 for Wednesday, Tuesday and Wednesday, Thursday and Friday in the upper seventies. Those morning lows are really comfortable in the upper fifties to about 60. That's our forecast update for this Friday night. Take care. Have a great weekend.
