Dr. Mask: NC residents shouldn't be overly concerned about Zika virus

A Wake County woman contracted the Zika virus while traveling abroad in Central and South America, marking the fifth confirmed case of the virus in the state, health officials said Thursday. Dr. Allen Mask says he expects there will be more cases during the spring and summer months, but he says North Carolina residents shouldn't be overly concerned if they take the right precautions to avoid mosquito bites.
