Two dogs were rescued from a structure fire in Durham Wednesday night.
Fire crews responded to a home in the 2300 block of Crane Street at 10:20 p.m. When firefighters arrived, they discovered heavy fire coming from the residence, Durham fire officials said.

According to Durham Fire Battalion Chief, Keith Miolla, it took approximately 15 minutes, three hose lines and 35 firefighters to get the fire under control.
One of the firefighters was treated for minor burns. No other firefighters or residents were injured, Miolla said.
The two dogs removed from the house were treated by Durham County Emergency Medical Services on scene.
The Red Cross is assisting two adults.
The cause of the fire is under investigation.
