Three people, including juvenile, shot at party in southeast Raleigh

Three people were shot overnight at a party in a southeast Raleigh neighborhood, police confirm.

The shooting was reported before 1:30 a.m. on Sunday in the 3400 block of Mackinac Island Lane.

Police said three people were shot at a party and transported to a local hospital with non-life-threatening injuries. One of the victims was under the age of 18. 

No one was arrested, and the investigation is ongoing.

Police said there is no threat to the public.

Another Raleigh shooting was reported around 1 a.m. on Bickett Boulevard, near Five Points. Raleigh police told WRAL News officers responded to a shots fired call at the location but found no gunshot victims.

One juvenile suffered minor injuries while running away from the gunshots and was transported to a hospital, police said.

The shooting incidents are not related.
