Two women linked to a theft ring at Bath & Body Works stores in the Triangle have been charged.

The thefts occurred between January and April at several stores in Raleigh and Durham.

Beatrice Harris and Latrice Leake took more than $8,300 worth of merchandise, according to authorities. There were 17 occurrences of theft in total involving candles, wallflower bulbs and soaps.

Harris faces charges for habitual larceny, misdemeanor conspiracy, felony conspiracy and organized retail theft. She is being held on a $115,000 bond.

Leake was charged with misdemeanor larceny, felony larceny, misdemeanor conspiracy, felony conspiracy, and organized retail theft. She is being held on a $10,000 bond.

Police in Raleigh, Durham and Wilson all worked on the case.
