13-year-old injured in drive-by shooting in Durham

A 13-year-old is in the hospital after a drive-by shooting Wednesday night on Rosedale Avenue in Durham. 

Police told WRAL News that a 13-year-old boy was walking on Rosedale Avenue near W. Lakewood Avenue around 9:15 p.m. Wednesday. A car drove by and shot in his direction, and the boy was hit.

He was taken to the hospital with non-life-threatening injuries. 

Police said there are no further details on this incident. There is no mention of any arrests.
