Amber Alert issued for Wilson boy, 5

Authorities issued an Amber Alert Saturday after a Wilson man allegedly stabbed his wife in the chest and took their 5-year-old son.

WILSON, N.C. — Authorities issued an Amber Alert Saturday morning after a Wilson man allegedly stabbed his wife in the chest and took their 5-year-old son.

Rey Fernando Bautista Osorio, 34, is accused of stabbing his wife, Ma Natividad Piedra-Maced, 31, and then taking their son, Isaac Bautista Piedra, from 1111 Arrington Ave. sometime before 2:30 a.m.

Emergency crews took the woman to Wilson Medical Center and then flew her to Pitt Memorial Hospital, where she was in critical condition.

Osorio is believed to be driving a black 2001 Nissan Xterra with N.C. license tag YWT1422. He may be heading to Wayne County or Mexico with his son, authorities said. He also frequents Pink Hill and Albertson.

Warrants have been issued for Osorio, who faces a charge of assault with a deadly weapon with intent to kill inflicting serious injury.

Anyone with information about Osorio and Isaac are asked to call the Wilson Police Department immediately at 252-399-2367, or call 911 or *HP.
