Sanford, N.C. — WRAL partnered with Neighbors Helping Neighbors for a day-long collection drive for Sanford families impacted by the April 16 tornadoes.
The drive, at 814 Spring Lane in Sanford, yielded three tractor trailers full of food, furniture and cleaning supplies for those trying to rebuild from the storms.
Individuals may receive donated items if they have a referral from FEMA or another local relief agency, such as Red Cross, Salvation and/or Christians United Outreach Center of Lee County.
WRAL would like to thank WFJA 105.5 FM and WWGP 1050 AM for their promotion and help.
