Three shot at Fayetteville sports bar

Two suspects in a triple shooting at a Fayetteville bar early Sunday remain on the loose, while a third suspect was found hiding in a dumpster.

FAYETTEVILLE, N.C. — Two suspects in a triple shooting at a Fayetteville bar early Sunday remain on the loose, while a third suspect was found hiding in a dumpster.

Witnesses told police that an altercation started in Izzy's Sports Bar in Andrews Commons, 150 Andrews Road, around 2 a.m. A man pulled out a handgun and started firing, striking three people. Police said the shooter fled in a vehicle with two other people.

One victim had life-threatening injuries and was flown to UNC Hospitals in Chapel Hill, police said. Two others were in critical condition at at Cape Fear Valley Medical Center in Fayetteville. Their identities haven't been released.

Police said that shortly after the shooting, officers tried to stop a vehicle matching a description of the one used by suspects in the 3700 block of Ramsey Street. The driver pulled over, but the vehicle's three occupants jumped out and ran.

Two of the suspects weren't caught, but using thermal imaging, officers found one suspect hiding in a dumpster.

Tony Terrance Moody, 20, of 2716 Daniel Boone Lane, was charged with accesesory after the fact of a felony.

Police continued to search for the escaped suspects and to investigate the incident.
