RALEIGH, N.C. — Raleigh police said three people were injured in a shooting in the 900 block of Edenton Street Tuesday night.

Witnesses in the area said they heard a dozen or more gunshots around 9:30 p.m.

The victims had non-life-threatening injuries and were taken to WakeMed Hospital. Police did not release their identities but said they are all in their late teens.

Investigators said they have interviewed the victims, but it wasn't clear if they knew the shooter. Police have not commented on a motive, and no arrests have been made.

Police said they were searching a white, four-door 2000 Chevrolet Malibu that might be connected to the shooting.
