RALEIGH, N.C. — Wake County sheriff's deputies arrested a 17-year-old woman on murder charges late Monday.

Police said Mariah Wisdom, her brother, Rajal Amed Wisdom Jr., 22, and her father, Rajal Amed Wisdom Sr., 45, all of 101 Elmridge Drive in Knightdale, all played roles in a shooting Sunday night in Raleigh.

All three face charges of first-degree murder and attempted first-degree murder.

Nigel J. Ellison, 18, and Kalife I. Johnson, 19, were shot Sunday evening at the intersection of Skycrest Drive and Southall Road in Raleigh.

Ellison was pronounced dead at WakeMed, authorities said. Johnson was treated and released.

Investigators said the suspects knew the victims. Sources close to the victims told WRAL News on Tuesday that Johnson was in a romantic relationship with Mariah Wisdom. Her mother declined to comment.

Mariah Wisdom was being held without bond at the Wake County jail on Tuesday. Her brother and father remain at large.

Rajal Wisdom Jr. is also known by his rap name, "Real Dynamite." He has released several songs under the local music label Hazardous LLC.

Neighbor Berard Thaxton said the younger Wisdom seemed nice. "I was very surprised, shocked," he said.

"He did have a good future in front of him, or seemed to have a good future in front of him," Wake County Sheriff Donnie Harrison said. "It's a tragedy for both families. You can't win in this situation."

Harrison said this is the first time in his career as sheriff that he has seen three members of the same family charged with first-degree murder.

Anyone with information on the whereabouts of the Wisdoms is asked to call the Wake County Sheriff's Office at 919-856-6911.
