DURHAM, N.C. — A jury found a Durham man guilty Tuesday of a fatal stabbing at Northgate Mall.

Xavier J. Moore, of Durham, stabbed 22-year-old Keanan James Odom during an altercation Oct. 13, 2007, in front of a clothing store near Entrance Two at the mall, police said.

Both men had a history of connections to crime.

In 2005, Moore was one of two men shot outside a Wendy's on Miami Boulevard.

Odom was charged with killing 17-year-old Keshaun Patterson in April 2005. That same year, he was also charged in a drive-by shooting that killed another teenager. At the time of his death, Odom was out of jail on bond for those two crimes.
