Goldsboro store clerk charged with murder

Goldsboro police charged a store clerk with murder after officers found a man with a stab wound at Bob's Convenience Store, 1714 S. Slocumb St., Monday night.

GOLDSBORO, N.C. — Goldsboro police charged a store clerk with murder after officers found a man with a stab wound at Bob's Convenience Store, 1714 S. Slocumb St., Monday night.

Emergency crews took the victim, Terry Lavon Singleton, to Wayne Memorial Hospital where he died.

Officers arrested Mohssen Almojaded, a clerk at Bob’s Convenience Store, and held him in the Wayne County Jail without bond.

Police did not say what led to the stabbing, which happened outside the store. Authorities declined to release more information.
