Man gets life sentence in woman's death
Charles Darryl Dickerson, 42, was convicted of the February 2006 beating death of 42-year-old Brenda Fox, whose body was found inside a South Pettigrew Street home.
Posted — UpdatedRALEIGH, N.C. — A jury on Wednesday sentenced a Raleigh man to life in prison without parole for the 2006 slaying of his ex-girlfriend.
Charles Darryl Dickerson, 42, was convicted of the February 2006 beating death of 42-year-old Brenda Fox, whose body was found inside a South Pettigrew Street home.
Dickerson was later apprehended in South Carolina during a traffic stop on Interstate 85.
