Raleigh police try to ID school thieves

The Raleigh Police Department is trying to identify three men who stole more than $13,000 worth of equipment from Sycamore Creek Elementary School.

RALEIGH, N.C. — The Raleigh Police Department is trying to identify three men caught on tape during the theft of more than $13,000 from Sycamore Creek Elementary School.
Three suspects men the school at 10921 Leesville Road during the pre-dawn hours of Aug. 15, Raleigh Police Department spokesman Jim Sughrue said. The suspects took 10 flat-screen televisions, eight computers and three computer monitors.

The suspects are believed to be white men ranging in age from their teens to their 20s. They are believed to have fled the scene in a light-colored SUV of an unknown make and model.

Sycamore Creek opened on Monday.
