RALEIGH, N.C. — Police are searching for a man wanted in connection with the death of a 21-year-old woman.

A murder warrant was issued Sunday for Khaleel A. Oyeneyin, 22. He is accused in the slaying of Corinnie D. Broadway.

Officers responding to calls about shots fired found Broadway inside a building at 2124-205 Larson Drive around 7 p.m. Saturday.

Broadway died at the scene, police said. Her cause of death was withheld.

Police said that they believe Broadway and Oyeneyin knew each other.

Oyeneyin was still at large on Sunday evening, police said. He might be driving a white 1995 Lexus GS 300, with state license plate number XNM-5900.

Anyone with information that might assist in locating Oyeneyin was asked to call Raleigh police at 919-890-3555 or Crime Stoppers at 919-226-CRIME. Crime Stoppers pays cash rewards for information in felony cases, and callers do not have to identify themselves.
