— A gunman was still at large after shooting three people outside the Top Rank Sports Bar in Raleigh in the early hours of Saturday morning.

The shootings took place outside the bar at 1915 Poole Road as it was closing around 2 a.m. An unidentified man armed with a handgun shot the three victims and then fled the scene.

The three victims all suffered non-life-threatening injuries, said Jim Sughrue, spokesman for the Raleigh Police Department.

Jerry Latwan Harris, 34, shot in the left leg, while Anthony Hinton, 33, was wounded in the right and left legs. A bullet struck Everett Orlandrus Mercer, 33, in the right arm.

Police described the shooter as a clean-shaven black male in his mid-20s with a slim build, standing between 6 feet 1 inch and 6 feet 2 inches tall. He was wearing a dark-colored hoodie over a white shirt and dark jeans.

Anyone with information about the shooting or suspect is asked to call the Raleigh Police Department at 919-890-3555.
