ROCKY MOUNT — Emergency crews are on the scene of anoverturned gasoline tanker in Rocky Mount.
The accident occurred at the corner of North Church Street and Highway64 at about 11:30 a.m. Tuesday. At 12:30, crews were still working toclean the site and right the truck.
The overturned tanker started did start leaking, but crewsmanaged to contain the spill. It is not known if an evacuation wasordered, or if anyone was injured.Traffic is now being detoured around the accident scene.
