FAYETTEVILLE\ — The families of two Fayettevillefriends who were shot to death in a raciallymotivated attack want to make sure no one forgets the deaths.

Jackie Burden and Michael James were gunned down as they walked on a city street.

Their families want a memorial erected as a reminder of the shooting.

Two Fort Bragg soldiers were convicted in the murders, and a thirdpleaded guilty to conspiracy.
