Fort Bragg Classrooms Filling Up

Posted November 14, 1997 12:00 a.m. EST

— Some Fort Bragg soldiers are preparing for life after the military. Enrollment in college courses on post is up more than 30 percent this year.

The government pays for these classes. It's one of the benefits of military service. Soldiers say it can be a struggle adding education to their already busy schedules, but Sgt. Bruce Washington of Fort Bragg says the army teaches soldiers to overcome obstacles.

There are currently so many soldiers, airmen and civilians taking classes that Fort Bragg is running out of space.
