CLAYTON — Fire broke out about 10:45 Sunday morning atthe Bayer Pharmaceutical plant near Clayton. The fire was contained toone production area, and no one was injured.
A company spokesman said no one was in the production area at the time.It had been closed down for refurbishing.
The blaze will not cause any delays in production, andno current production was affected by the fire. Monetary damages are notknown at this point.
Investigation continues into the cause of the fire.
