DURHAM — The manager of a Durham McDonald's was shot during an attempted robberyTuesday night, police said.
Just before 10 p.m., two masked men approached the manager of the storewhile he was doing some paperwork. Police said the manager struggled, andwas shot. The fast-food restaurant is in a WalMart store at the New HopeCommons Shopping Center on the Durham-Orange county line.
The manager was taken to the hospital. His name and condition were notreleased.
Police arrested two men they believe held up the manager. The pair wasfound in woods near where a getaway car was parked.
