Many fair goers probably had trouble getting back in their homeswithout their keys. Others are without their daily medication. A few itemsturned into the fair office prove there are still some honest people leftin the world. Acting fair manager Wesley Wyatt says every effort is madeto return items to their owners.
As crews clean the fairgrounds there may be other items found. You cancheck at the fairgrounds office for your missing valuables.
More than 634-thousand folks turned out during the 10 day run. Thispast Saturday... fair-goers set a new, one day attendance record. Fairofficials say attendance, overall, was down about 16-percent this yearfrom last.
Fair officials say that's not bad considering the higher than normalrain fall that kept many away this year.
