POPE AIR FORCE BASE — A lot of people are probably nursing sore necks after staring at the sky all Saturday.
That's where the action was, as jets screamed through the sky over PopeAir Force Base yesterday, and paratroopers dropped to the ground information.
It was the annual Pope-Fort Bragg joint open house.
More than 20 planes were on display. There also were air assaultdemonstrations and a number of fly-bys.
The event showcases local Army and Air Force skills and capabilities.
