Student Robbed at UNC Student Union

— A UNC-Chapel Hill student worker was robbed at knife-point at the Frank Porter Graham Student Union Monday night. The student was not hurt, but the suspect got away and campus police are asking for help in finding him.

At about 9:00 p.m., a food service employee was counting money when she heard a knock at the door. The suspect opened the door and pulled a knife on the student. Then he grabbed the money and fled on foot.

Police described the suspect as a light-skinned black male with a light moustache, about 5 feet 8 inches tall and weighing about 175 pounds. He was wearing a hat, a green Tommy Hilfiger shirt with gold embroidery and navy pants.

Police are asking people with information about the crime to call UNC Police at966-2120or CrimeStoppers at 942-7515.
