FORT BRAGG — Preliminary autopsy results show a babyfound in a dumpster at Fort Bragg may have been born dead.
A soldier running along Sapper Road found the baby wrapped ina bag inside a dumpster. Investigators still hope to receive tips thatwill help them locate the baby girl's parents.
LtC. Rick Spearman, a spokesman for the 18th Airborne Corps at FortBragg says it is difficult to be sure with newborns.
Investigators are looking through the contents of the dumpster forclues. No word when we can expect the completed autopsy results.
