RALEIGH — Parents, if your kids are interested intelevision as a possible future career, now is a good time for them to geta taste of the real thing. WRAL-TV5 and Explorer Post Five are holding anopen house Tuesday night for anyone age 14 to 20.
Explorer Post Five is an organization that exposes teens to the realityof what it's like to work in television. Students learn how to runcameras, host shows, produce, direct, even edit programs. This year, they'll also learn how to post reports on the World Wide Web.
Anyone who'd like to attend should simply come to the WRAL studiosTuesday night. The open house runs from 6:30 to eight p.m.The studio is located at 2619 Western Boulevard in Raleigh. Ifyou have questions, call821-8555.
