FAYETTEVILLE — A former partner in a Harnett County pet store has dodged animal control citations in Fayetteville.
After receiving a warning, Kevin Giles bought licenses for 16-dogs and showed proof they've been vaccinated for rabies. Giles picked up the dogs from an animal shelter last week. They had been staying there while he and the pet shop's owner closed out the business.
Owner Audrey Collins was in court this morning to face animal cruelty charges, but the case was continued.
