DURHAM — Two women who won a $295,000 settlement fromthe City of Durham now say they want court records in the case to beopened.
The sisters sued over excessive use of police force during a 1994 drugsearch near their home. They want the records opened so everyone can seewhat happened to them.
City officials disagree and are asking a judge to keep the documentsclosed.
